Brian Egwele is the founder and a Managing Director of Egwele & Company. He began his investment banking career with Salomon Smith Barney (a predecessor to Citigroup) in 2000. Prior to founding Egwele & Company in 2017, Brian was the co-head of the Automotive and Industrials Group at Sagent Advisors LLC.
Brian has advised clients on a variety of complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments, equity and debt financings, recapitalizations and in- and out-of-court restructurings. He has advised clients across a range of industries including industrial manufacturing, business services and consumer products, among others.
Over the past two decades, Brian and his deal teams have advised on more than 50 mergers and acquisitions with an aggregate transaction value over $40 billion and on more than 30 financings that raised over $15 billion.
Brian graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Management and concentration in Finance from Tulane University. He is a licensed General Securities Principal and Introducing Broker-Dealer Financial and Operations Principal with Egwele Securities LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC.
Gregory Floyd is a Managing Director in the Firm’s New York City office. Prior to joining Egwele & Company in 2021, he held senior executive positions at certain private investment companies, including Sunrise Capital Partners, Yenni Capital and Cowen Capital Partners. Greg began his investment banking career at Cowen Inc.
Gregory has an extensive background in private equity and investment banking with significant experience executing growth and structured equity investments for middle market companies.
Gregory is originally from Connecticut and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Bentley University. He is a Registered Representative with Egwele Securities LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC.
